Fem album: Alex Sandra

Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory  (2000)
I'll never forget the first time I heard Linkin Park’s Hybrid Theory - it blew me away. I was at my friend’s place after school, in 7th grade. Walking in, we heard the start of In the End. My friend’s older brother was gaming and playing music. Right from the beginning, I fell in love with alternative rock and knew that was the music I wanted to create. That moment changed my life. Even now, 20 years later, I still listen to it. Hybrid Theory is like the perfect soundtrack for my life.

Guano Apes - Proud Like A God (1997)
Guano Apes - Don’t Give Me Names (2000)
I discovered Guano Apes in 7th grade, and oh my goodness! This little girl didn't know what to do with these overwhelming emotions! I listened to these two albums on repeat! Back then, if you were a Guano Apes fan, you were part of a very special community. You were something bigger, and it was awesome! Sandra was my idol - I loved everything about her! A female badass lead singer with a unique voice and look - how could you not? I was also thrilled to see someone I could relate to. Back then, beauty standards weren't very diverse, and Sandra brought a bit of that diversity. I was bullied at school and called ugly. But then I saw this gorgeous woman, and I realised: I'm not ugly, I am just different. Open your Eyes and Lord of The Boards are my favourite songs.

Adele - 21 (2011)
A refined and gorgeous masterpiece of the 21st century. A big thanks to Adele for her immense impact on the world. Rolling In The Deep, Rumour Has it and One And Only stole my heart.

System Of A Down - Toxicity (2001)
I absolutely love this album! The first song I heard was Chop Suey! As someone of Georgian ethnicity, I deeply appreciate that System of a Down is an Armenian-American band. I adore how they infuse a bit of folk flavor into their music. Forest, Prison Song, and the iconic Chop Suey! are absolute favourites of mine.
