Lina Cooper föddes i Ukraina men bor sedan några år tillbaka i Los Angeles. Hon släpptesin debut-EP It hurts too much to speak i augusti.

I've had a few great music memories. One of the first brightest memories I can recall is being about 8-9 years old and hearing Katy Perry's Hot'n'Cold on MTV. I am from Ukraine, so back then I didn't speak much English and also wasn't exposed to much Western culture. So when I heard this song I was blown away. It was so light and fun, the music video was so bright and exciting. That was the moment I decided to write my first song.

I am a very frequent "concert goer", so I've probably seen most of my favorite artists by now. I've been to some incredible and very inspiring shows like Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Fall Out Boy, Paramore, Katy Perry, Bring Me The Horizon, and many many more... But there was this one show that was different.

I went to see Florence + The Machine ALONE. I've never gone to see any shows alone before (and then after). But during the show Florence asked the crowd to hold hands with the people next to you and then smile at them, and my neighbours were not very nice. It was so awkward I wanted to disappear!
